Job Details
- Job Title: Dairy Farm Worker (LMIA Approved for Foreign Workers)

- Working Hours: 40–50 hours/week (Morning, Evening, and Weekend Shifts)
- Salary: CAD $18–$21 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Responsibilities
As a Dairy Farm Worker, you will support day-to-day activities across various areas of the farm. Your tasks will include:
Milking Operations
- Set up, operate, and clean milking equipment
- Ensure proper udder health and hygiene
- Monitor milk quality and report abnormalities
Animal Care
- Feed and water cows and goats
- Assist with birthing and caring for newborn calves
- Monitor animal health, behavior, and report illnesses
- Clean barns, pens, and stalls regularly
Farm Maintenance
- Operate tractors, loaders, and farm tools (training provided)
- Maintain fences, gates, and milking stations
- Maintain cleanliness and biosecurity standards
Record Keeping
- Assist in maintaining logs for feed, medication, and production
- Tagging and registering livestock as per regulations
Seasonal Tasks
- Help with silage, hay making, and harvesting when needed
- Snow clearing and winter maintenance in cold months
Job Requirements
👨🌾 Education and Experience
- No formal education required, but completion of high school is an asset
- At least 1 year of experience in farm work or livestock handling preferred
- Experience in milking operations is highly valued but not mandatory
- Willingness to undergo training upon arrival in Canada
💪 Physical and Personal Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for long hours, and outdoor work
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic understanding of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Good teamwork, punctuality, and attention to animal welfare
