Job Summary:

Little Ones UK Ltd, a renowned childcare agency, is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Daily Nannies to join our team in London. As a Daily Nanny, you will provide personalized and dedicated care to children, ensuring their well-being, growth, and development on a daily basis. Your commitment and nurturing approach will play a vital role in creating a loving and supportive environment for children under your care.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive daily care for children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and overall well-being.
2. Follow the family’s routine and guidelines to maintain consistency and familiarity for the children.
3. Engage children in educational and stimulating activities appropriate to their age and developmental stage.
4. Plan and organize outings, playdates, and recreational activities to promote socialization and learning.
5. Assist with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and feeding.
6. Support children with homework, educational tasks, and extracurricular activities.
7. Foster positive behavior and discipline techniques in line with the family’s values and preferences.
8. Accompany children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and punctuality.
9. Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on the children’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
10. Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including children’s bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces.
11. Ensure children’s belongings are organized and well-maintained.
12. Collaborate with other household staff as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the household.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Daily Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
2. Genuine passion for working with children and promoting their development.
3. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
4. Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children’s growth and learning.
5. Knowledge of child health and safety guidelines, including first aid and CPR certification (desirable).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and parents.
7. Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy nature with a high level of integrity.
8. Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
9. Fluent spoken and written English.
10. Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
