Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Staff member at Dubai Airport, you will be the welcoming face and friendly voice that greets travelers and assists them throughout their journey. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure passengers have a smooth and enjoyable airport experience by providing information, resolving inquiries, and offering assistance with various airport processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle diverse customer interactions with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet passengers warmly and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere upon their arrival at the airport.
  2. Assist passengers with check-in, baggage drop-off, and boarding procedures, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
  3. Respond promptly and courteously to passenger inquiries, offering accurate and helpful information about flights, facilities, and services available at the airport.
  4. Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues with empathy and professionalism, aiming for customer satisfaction.
  5. Guide passengers through security and immigration processes, ensuring compliance with airport regulations.
  6. Provide special assistance to passengers with reduced mobility, elderly travelers, and families with young children, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  7. Collaborate with airport authorities, airlines, and other service providers to ensure efficient and coordinated operations.
  8. Monitor flight schedules and announcements to keep passengers informed about any changes or updates.
  9. Assist in handling lost and found items, following established protocols to reunite passengers with their belongings.
  10. Promote loyalty programs, airport services, and retail outlets to enhance the overall customer experience.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and security guidelines.
  12. Collaborate with fellow team members to handle peak hours and ensure optimal customer service levels.
  13. Handle cash transactions, issue boarding passes, and process other relevant paperwork accurately.
  14. Provide support to other airport staff as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  2. Prior customer service experience, especially in the aviation or hospitality industry, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  4. Warm and approachable demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
  5. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and handle challenging customer interactions with patience and professionalism.
  6. Familiarity with airport procedures, security protocols, and aviation terminology is beneficial.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address customer needs.
  8. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support 24/7 airport operations.
  9. Proficiency in using computer applications and technology for check-in and ticketing procedures.
  10. UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates.
