Responsibilities:

• Bag and package customer purchases efficiently and securely.
• Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in balancing cash drawers.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism.
• Proficiency in using technology, such as cash registers and scanners.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry moderate weights, such as bags of groceries.
• Bend, kneel, and reach to perform cashier and customer service tasks.
