Job Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to lift, lower, and move materials, equipment, and structures.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the crane, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Inspect and maintain the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Calculate load weights and determine the appropriate lifting capacities of the crane.
- Communicate with ground personnel to safely and accurately position materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and make minor repairs to the crane as needed.
- Keep accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities.
Education and Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid crane operator certification and license.
- Proven experience as a Crane Driver with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of crane operation and safety procedures.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform the duties of the role.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
