Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operations: Safely and skillfully operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks to transport, stack, load, and unload materials and equipment.
- Material Handling: Handle goods and equipment with care to prevent damages and ensure the proper placement and organization within the facility.
- Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety regulations and guidelines, actively promoting a safe working environment.
- Warehouse Support: Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and assist with other duties as needed.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of forklifts to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of forklift operations, including inventory movement and stock levels.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any operational challenges.
- Environmental Compliance: Adhere to company policies related to environmental protection and waste management.
Requirements:
- Work Visa: Foreign candidates must possess a valid work visa that permits employment in the United Kingdom.
- Forklift License: Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck License obtained in the candidate’s home country or the ability to obtain one before commencing work in the UK.
