Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.
2. Lead and manage construction teams, including tradespeople, subcontractors, and support staff, to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, including work plans, resource allocation, and timelines, to meet project objectives and deadlines.
4. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and senior management.
5. Enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
6. Oversee the procurement and management of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractors to support project execution.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address design issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure project alignment.
8. Conduct regular site inspections to assess work progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
9. Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and other potential issues.
10. Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, addressing any technical challenges or concerns that arise during the project.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
5. Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing project conditions.
8. Proficient in project management software and tools.
9. Sound knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
10. Willingness to travel to different job sites within Canada as needed.
