Job Location

• Some travel may be required within Alberta for specific projects

Available Construction Job Positions (Visa Sponsorship Eligible)

We are hiring for 10 easy-to-understand construction roles, including both skilled and entry-level positions. All roles offer on-the-job training for those with little or no prior experience.

1. General Labourer

Assist skilled workers with basic construction tasks. Load/unload materials, clean sites, and support building activities.

2. Construction Helper

Work alongside carpenters, electricians, or masons. Great entry point for those with basic physical fitness.

3. Carpenter Assistant

Support framing, cutting, and assembling wood structures. Prior woodwork experience preferred but not required.

4. Concrete Finisher

Pour, level, and finish concrete for sidewalks, floors, and walls. We provide training for those new to the task.

5. Equipment Operator (Entry-Level)

Operate forklifts, small cranes, and site machinery under supervision. Must have basic safety awareness.

6. Scaffolding Helper

Assist in setting up and removing scaffolding. Requires attention to detail and balance.

7. Demolition Worker

Safely remove structures and clear debris. Safety equipment and protocols strictly followed.

8. Site Cleaner / Construction Janitor

Keep the construction area clean, clear of hazards, and well-organized. No experience needed.

9. Warehouse Labourer

Manage storage and delivery of materials to job sites. Heavy lifting may be involved.

10. Traffic Control Person

Direct traffic around construction zones using signage and signals. Training provided, safety first!

Working Hours

• Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Optional overtime on Saturdays
• Paid breaks and lunch hour
• Seasonal work may include longer hours during summer months

Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, in line with Alberta’s construction industry standards:

• Hourly Pay: CAD $18 – $30/hour depending on role and experience
• Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate for extra hours
• Weekly or bi-weekly payments
• Annual raises based on performance

Visa Sponsorship Details

BuildRight Group is an LMIA-approved employer. This means we are authorized to hire foreign workers under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) and provide:

Basic Requirements:

Experience in construction is a plus but not mandatory for most roles. We provide training and orientation for all new hires.
