As a Construction Helper, you will work alongside our experienced tradespeople and contribute to the successful execution of construction projects. Responsibilities:

1. Assist tradespeople in various construction activities, including but not limited to, loading and unloading materials, assembling and disassembling scaffolding, and cleaning work areas.
2. Operate hand tools and power tools under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
3. Perform basic carpentry, masonry, and concrete work as directed.
4. Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment within job sites using manual or motorized equipment.
5. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
7. Assist in the setup and dismantling of temporary structures as required.
8. Support the team in maintaining accurate records of materials, supplies, and equipment.
9. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
10. Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and take on new tasks as directed.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset but not mandatory.
3. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
4. Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
6. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
7. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as required.
8. Valid driver’s license is preferred.
9. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing work environments.
10. Willingness to travel to different job sites within Canada as needed.
