Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning tasks: Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, common spaces, and other designated areas according to established standards and protocols.
2. Laundry services: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items, ensuring proper handling and following specific instructions for different fabrics and garments. Maintain laundry equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
3. Waste management: Dispose of waste and recyclable materials following proper procedures and in accordance with environmental guidelines. Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper recycling practices are followed.
4. Stock and inventory management: Monitor and replenish cleaning and laundry supplies as needed. Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
5. Safety and hygiene: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and hazardous substances.
6. Customer service: Provide courteous and professional customer service, responding to client inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while working in client premises.
7. Time management and organization: Manage workload efficiently to meet cleaning and laundry schedules and deadlines. Prioritize tasks and work autonomously to ensure all assigned duties are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning and laundry services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required.
