Job Description:

Blackburn College is currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for Cleaner positions in the United Kingdom. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various areas of the college premises, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure a clear and polished appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and reception areas.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as desks, tables, chairs, and kitchen areas.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
