Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Plan delivery routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and interact professionally with clients
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities or supervisors
Education and Qualification:
- Valid Class 2 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
- Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver preferred
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and route planning
- Excellent driving skills and ability to operate vehicles safely in various conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
