Key Responsibilities:

4. Environmental Impact Assessment: Consider environmental factors and conduct impact assessments to minimize the ecological footprint of projects.
5. Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship to ensure projects meet specified standards.
6. Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
7. Permitting and Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and surveyors, to achieve project objectives.
9. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, engineering designs, and relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or eligibility for licensure in Canada is preferred.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, preferably with exposure to a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in engineering software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work on-site and in office settings, depending on project requirements.
