Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines.
- Design and Engineering: Perform engineering calculations, prepare design drawings, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, quality, and safety, and address any issues or concerns.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resources to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Contract Management: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and correspondence.
- Health and Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols and practices on construction sites.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional engineering certification (RPEQ or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering software and AutoCAD.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
