Responsibilities:

2. Trim, bone, and portion meats according to specific customer requests and standard cutting guidelines.
3. Ensure proper storage and handling of meats to maintain freshness and quality.
4. Operate and maintain butchery equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
5. Package and label meat products accurately, following company standards and regulatory guidelines.
6. Assist in inventory management and stock control, notifying supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
7. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with meat selection and offering cooking and preparation tips.
8. Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure the safety of our customers.
9. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring the smooth operation of the butchery department.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Butcher in a retail or food service setting.
2. In-depth knowledge of meat cutting techniques and various meat products.
3. Ability to handle and process meats with precision and efficiency.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
7. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
