Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business continuity plans, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the resilience of critical business functions.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts on operations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain business continuity plans for key departments and functions, including crisis management, IT disaster recovery, and emergency response.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on business continuity principles, procedures, and roles and responsibilities during emergencies.
- Conduct exercises and drills to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans and response capabilities, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging risks, incidents, and trends to update and enhance business continuity plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with external partners, regulatory agencies, and industry forums to share best practices and lessons learned in business continuity management.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification in business continuity management (e.g., CBCP, CBCI) is preferred.
- Previous experience in business continuity planning, risk management, or emergency management, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity principles, standards (e.g., ISO 22301), and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
