Key Responsibilities:
- Operate buses and ensure safe transportation of passengers to designated locations.
- Adhere to established routes and schedules while providing timely and reliable service.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in interactions with passengers and colleagues.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, as needed.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure its safety and proper functioning.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Handle fare collection and maintain accurate records, if applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service and address passenger inquiries or concerns.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to bus operation and safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving license with Category D entitlement (PCV license).
- Previous experience as a Bus Driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with traffic laws, road safety, and driving regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with passengers.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
