Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and recommendations as needed.
2. Efficiently process beer and beverage sales, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate change.
3. Maintain a clean and organized beer store, arranging products on shelves and displays attractively.
4. Check identification and ensure customers meet legal age requirements for purchasing alcoholic beverages.
5. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.
6. Collaborate with the hotel’s food and beverage team to provide excellent customer service and meet guest expectations.
7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously.
8. Ensure compliance with legal regulations, including responsible service of alcohol.
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
10. Upsell and promote featured products or specials to increase sales.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a liquor store or beverage industry, is advantageous but not mandatory.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing sales and handling cash transactions.
4. Knowledge of beer and beverage products is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
5. Eligibility to work in Canada with a valid work visa or interest in obtaining sponsorship.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
7. Must be of legal age to sell alcoholic beverages in Canada.
8. Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
9. Physical ability to lift and carry cases of beverages as needed.
