Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery to tables or the bar.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and assist customers in making choices.
• Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, following company procedures.
• Clear tables, reset them for the next customers, and ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the bar and dining areas.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as plating and garnishing, as required.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Attend to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Upsell additional products and promotions to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a bar or waiting role is preferred, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work well within a team and under pressure, demonstrating good teamwork and adaptability.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures is advantageous.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for order taking and cash handling.
