• Work setting: Rural area, urban area, commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and various locations
• Work site environment: Candidates should work in dusty, cold/refrigerated, hot, noisy and outdoors
• Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have safety equipment/gear and steel-toed safety boots
• Security and safety: Criminal record should checked and drug test required

Education

• High School / Bachelors Degree / Diploma 

Experience

• 1-2 Years of Experience On Related Field 

Responsibilities:

• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters.
• Patch voids and use saws to cut expansion joints.
• Monitor curing processes and apply compounds to surfaces.
• Check the forms that hold the concrete to ensure they are properly constructed.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete, and move chute to direct concrete on forms.
• Produce rough concrete surface, using broom.
• Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer.

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and quality-focused.
