Key Responsibilities:

1. Crop Cultivation: Assist in the cultivation of crops, including planting, weeding, and applying fertilizers or pesticides as instructed. Follow agricultural practices and guidelines to ensure optimal crop growth and health.
2. Harvesting: Participate in crop harvesting activities, such as picking, cutting, or gathering crops manually or using appropriate tools and equipment. Ensure proper handling and storage of harvested crops.
3. Irrigation and Watering: Assist in irrigation and watering activities, ensuring that crops receive adequate moisture based on their specific requirements. Monitor irrigation systems and report any issues or malfunctions.
4. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, or irrigation systems, as required. Follow safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines for equipment operation.
5. Field Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of agricultural fields, including clearing debris, removing weeds, and maintaining boundaries. Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
6. Quality Control: Participate in quality control inspections of crops, checking for signs of disease, pests, or damage. Follow instructions for sorting, grading, and packaging crops according to established standards.
7. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
8. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, cooperating with fellow workers and supervisors to achieve production targets and maintain productivity. Communicate clearly and professionally.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in agricultural production or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of basic agricultural practices, including crop cultivation and harvesting.
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery and equipment is a plus.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective communication skills to work well within a team.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations within an agricultural setting.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
