Job Responsibilities – Food Processing Labourer

As a Food Processing Labourer at Ferme Vifranc Inc, you will:

Operate or assist in operating food processing machines such as bottling, mixing, or packaging equipment.
Load raw materials like fruit or syrup into hoppers or conveyors.
Monitor and inspect the production line for quality assurance.
Manually sort, label, and package finished products in accordance with company standards.
Clean work areas and equipment following strict hygiene and food safety protocols.
Perform repetitive manual tasks such as lifting, stacking, and palletizing.
Handle containers, packaging material, and finished goods.
Work as part of a team to ensure efficiency and product consistency.

Working Conditions

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 36 hours/week. Occasional weekends during peak seasons.
Work Environment: Factory setting, temperature varies depending on the department.
Protective Gear Provided: Gloves, hairnets, boots, uniforms, etc.
Breaks: Two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break.
Salary: $19.00 to $25.00/hour, depending on experience and role (to be negotiated).
Overtime: Paid as per Quebec Labour Standards.
