Responsibilities:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse and logistics operations. Your key responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Safely operating forklifts and other relevant equipment to move, stack, and store goods and materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and pallets in adherence to safety protocols.
- Conducting routine inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance or operational issues.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring accurate placement and tracking of products.
- Collaborating with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adhering to workplace safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual lifting and moving of materials.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
- Eligibility for Work Visa Sponsorship to work in the United Kingdom.
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is essential.
- Valid forklift operator certification/licensure is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, such as counterbalance, reach trucks, or pallet jacks.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational best practices.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and precision in handling materials and products.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Adaptability to changing work conditions and schedules.
