Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and check them in/out of the hotel efficiently and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and with a positive attitude.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately and according to hotel policies.
- Manage room allocations and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services and resolve issues.
- Address and forward incoming phone calls and messages to the appropriate recipients.
- Keep up-to-date records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Follow hotel security procedures to ensure guest safety and privacy.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Clerk or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of hotel reservation systems is an asset.
- Eligibility to work in Canada with a valid work visa or willingness to obtain sponsorship.
- Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
