Job Summary

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join our team in the United Kingdom. As an RGN at Care UK, you will play a critical role in providing excellent nursing care to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

1. Nursing Care:
   • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
   • Assess residents’ health needs and develop individualized care plans.
2. Medication Management:
   • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, adhering to medication protocols and ensuring accurate documentation.
3. Wound Care and Dressing:
   • Perform wound care and dressings as needed, monitoring healing progress and reporting any concerns.
4. Vital Signs Monitoring:
   • Regularly monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
5. Health Assessment:
   • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, identifying changes in residents’ health status and responding appropriately.
6. Care Planning:
   • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and regularly reviewed.
7. Communication and Collaboration:
   • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care delivery.
8. Record Keeping:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of nursing care provided and observations made.
9. Health and Safety:
   • Adhere to health and safety regulations and infection control protocols to create a safe and hygienic environment for residents.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register as an RGN.
• Previous experience as an RGN or in a similar nursing role is advantageous.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
• Empathy and a caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in residents’ lives.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
• A commitment to providing person-centered care and upholding professional nursing standards.
