Key Responsibilities:
- Gas Appliance Installation: Install and commission gas appliances, such as boilers, water heaters, and cookers, in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Gas System Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks on gas systems to ensure their efficient and safe operation.
- Repairs and Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair gas-related faults in plumbing systems, including leaks and heating issues.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and other relevant industry standards.
- Health and Safety: Follow strict health and safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work undertaken, gas safety checks, and materials used.
- Client Interaction: Interact professionally with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Gas-Safe Registration: Valid Gas Safe registration for working on gas systems is essential.
- Plumbing Experience: Proven experience as a Plumber, with specific experience in gas-related work.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Gas Safe regulations and plumbing codes in the UK.
- Qualifications: Relevant plumbing qualifications or certifications.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical Fitness: Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights if required.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility: Availability to work on weekends or evenings, if needed.
- Valid UK Driving License: A valid UK driving license would be advantageous.
