Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installations: Conduct electrical installations for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, following wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Electrical Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions, efficiently resolving issues to ensure safe and reliable electrical systems.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.
- Compliance: Adhere to electrical safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems, employing effective problem-solving skills to rectify issues promptly.
- Electrical Testing: Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of electrical systems and installations.
- Wiring and Rewiring: Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures as required.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients, providing excellent customer service and offering advice and recommendations on electrical issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project objectives and deliver quality electrical services.
- Adherence to Company Policies: Comply with all JLEC Electrical Ltd policies, procedures, and guidelines, maintaining professionalism and integrity in your role.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A recognized electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Electrician, demonstrating competence in electrical installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of electrical regulations, safety codes, and best practices in the UK.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Flexibility in working hours, including occasional evening or weekend work, as per project requirements.
