We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. General Farm Worker
Job Description:
- Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Operating farm machinery (training provided)
- Cleaning, maintaining, and setting up equipment
- Manual labor such as lifting and stacking produce
Requirements:
- No previous experience required
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines
2. Greenhouse Labourer
Job Description:
- Seeding and potting plants
- Watering, pruning, and caring for crops
- Packaging vegetables and fruits for distribution
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of plant care an asset
- Attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
3. Meat Packing Assistant
Job Description:
- Assisting in processing poultry and beef products
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the work area
- Operating basic packaging equipment
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in refrigerated environments
- Knowledge of hygiene practices is a plus
4. Warehouse Support Staff
Job Description:
- Sorting and stacking produce in cold storage
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Inventory assistance
Requirements:
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg)

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these positions, Nigerian candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be between the ages of 20 and 45
- Hold a valid Nigerian passport (minimum 1-year validity)
- High school certificate (minimum)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- No criminal record
- Good physical health (medical test required)
Visa Sponsorship and Immigration Support
MapleLeaf Agro-Farms Ltd. offers full visa sponsorship under the Canadian Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). The company works directly with licensed immigration consultants and government agencies to ensure a smooth visa application process for successful candidates.
Our Sponsorship Includes:
- Canadian work permit (valid for 2–3 years, renewable)
- LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) approval
- Flight ticket to Canada (after visa approval)
- Guidance on biometrics, medicals, and police clearance
- Assistance with accommodation arrangements upon arrival
- Airport pickup and relocation support
Salary and Benefits
We believe in fair compensation and offer industry-standard wages for all workers. The exact amount depends on your role and shift patterns.
Pay Scale:
- General Farm Workers: CAD $15.85/hour
- Greenhouse Labourers: CAD $16.50/hour
- Meat Packing Assistants: CAD $17.25/hour
- Warehouse Support: CAD $17.00/hour

- Overtime pay (1.5x regular rate after 40 hours/week)

Work Schedule
