Job Overview:

As a Farm Labourer – Harvesting, your primary role will be to assist with harvesting pumpkins and other crops, ensuring efficient and quality farm operations. You will work outdoors in a physically active environment, helping to maintain and harvest our seasonal produce.

This job is open to Canadian residents and international applicants looking for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)-supported work permit to legally work in Canada.

With the peak harvest season approaching, we are urgently looking for dedicated Farm Labourers to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Harvesting Duties:

Pick, cut, and collect pumpkins and other crops during the harvest season.
Sort and grade produce based on quality standards.
Clean and prepare harvested crops for market distribution.

2. Farm Maintenance:

Remove weeds and debris to maintain crop health.
Operate basic farm equipment such as wheelbarrows, harvesting tools, and irrigation systems.
Assist with soil preparation and planting tasks when necessary.

3. Physical Labour & Outdoor Work:

Lift and carry pumpkins and other harvested produce.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, rain, or cool temperatures).
Perform repetitive tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

No formal education required.
Basic reading and comprehension skills are an asset.

Experience:

No previous experience required – training will be provided.
Prior experience in farm work, harvesting, or physical labour is an asset.

Skills and Qualities:

Physically fit – Able to lift and carry heavy loads for extended periods.
Hardworking and reliable – Willing to work long hours outdoors.
Able to work in a team – Follow directions from supervisors and collaborate with other workers.
Basic knowledge of farm operations – Willingness to learn and adapt.
