Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including breakfast and lunch options, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, following C Market Coffee’s recipes and guidelines.
2. Ensure that all food is prepared with precision, maintaining consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
3. Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours, coordinating cooking times and assisting with food preparation as needed.
4. Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, promptly notifying the management team of any shortages or required restocking.
5. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures, adhering to strict hygiene standards to maintain a clean and organized work area.
6. Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, practicing proper rotation and labeling to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including sanitation practices and proper storage of food items.
8. Contribute to menu development and improvement, suggesting creative ideas and seasonal variations to enhance the culinary offerings of C Market Coffee.
9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, working efficiently under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
10. Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members, promoting a positive work environment and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
2. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
3. Familiarity with breakfast and lunch menu items, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively and multitasking.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
7. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the coffee shop’s operational requirements.
