As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving crepes and other menu items, assisting customers with their orders, maintaining cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas, and ensuring high standards of food safety. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.

Food Preparation & Handling:

  • Prepare and assemble crepes, sandwiches, and other food items as per company recipes and standards.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while handling ingredients.
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper portioning of servings.

Cash Handling & Order Processing:

  • Process payments accurately through cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment systems.
  • Issue receipts and provide change as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and report any discrepancies to management.

Maintaining Cleanliness & Organization:

  • Keep workstations, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Follow sanitation and cleaning schedules, including washing dishes and utensils.
  • Dispose of waste properly and adhere to recycling guidelines.

Team Collaboration & Additional Duties:

  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in stocking and replenishing food supplies, condiments, and kitchen inventory.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and workplace procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • No formal education required; however, high school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a fast-food restaurant or café is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic food preparation and handling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures.
