Job Responsibilities
As an Agricultural Worker at Buitelaar Group, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Livestock Care & Handling:
- Feeding and watering livestock such as cattle, sheep, and poultry
- Monitoring the health of animals and reporting any issues to the farm supervisor
- Assisting in breeding and calving processes when necessary
- Cleaning and maintaining animal housing facilities
- Crop Cultivation & Farm Maintenance:
- Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal requirements
- Operating and maintaining farming equipment such as tractors and harvesters
- Conducting soil preparation, fertilization, and irrigation as required
- Ensuring farm facilities, fences, and barns are well-maintained
- General Farm Duties:
- Loading and unloading agricultural produce and feed supplies
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on the farm
- Keeping farm records up to date and assisting with stock management
- Working collaboratively with other farm workers to complete daily tasks efficiently
