Job Responsibilities
As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean, sanitized, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities include:
General Cleaning Duties:
✔ Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness
✔ Dusting and wiping down furniture, shelves, and play equipment
✔ Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors
✔ Emptying garbage bins and ensuring proper waste disposal
Childcare Facility Cleaning:
✔ Disinfecting toys, tables, and high-contact surfaces to prevent the spread of germs
✔ Ensuring that classrooms, nap areas, and play zones are kept clean and organized
✔ Cleaning spills and accidents immediately to maintain a safe environment
Kitchen and Eating Areas:
✔ Cleaning kitchen countertops, sinks, and appliances
✔ Wiping down dining tables and high chairs after meal times
✔ Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Restocking and Reporting:
✔ Refilling soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms
✔ Notifying the management team of any necessary repairs or maintenance issues
✔ Following a daily cleaning checklist to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
Job Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
✔ No formal education is required, but a high school diploma is an advantage
✔ Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory
✔ Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
✔ Good communication skills in English (basic understanding is sufficient)
Work Eligibility & Visa Sponsorship:
