Responsibilities:

1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, ensuring individualized care plans and treatment goals are met.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to proper dosage, route, and documentation.
3. Monitor patients’ conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments, taking appropriate action when necessary.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, therapists, and support staff, to coordinate patient care.
5. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting self-care and healthy lifestyle choices.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
7. Adhere to clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices to ensure safe and effective nursing care.
8. Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with infection control and health and safety regulations.
10. Uphold ethical and professional standards, following the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct.

Requirements:

1. Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or eligibility to register.
2. A degree in nursing or a diploma in nursing with relevant experience.
3. Proven clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably within the UK healthcare system.
4. Strong knowledge and understanding of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices.
5. Excellent assessment and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
7. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the healthcare facility’s requirements.
9. Proficient computer skills and ability to use electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
