Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee transportation and installation activities for construction projects, including offshore facilities and structures.
- Develop transportation and installation procedures, methodologies, and schedules in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Review engineering designs and specifications to ensure compatibility with transportation and installation requirements.
- Liaise with vessel operators, contractors, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for transportation and installation activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during transportation and installation operations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identify issues and risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience in transportation and installation engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of transportation and installation methodologies, practices, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
