Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, cooks, and kitchen helpers.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and food preparation techniques.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of food items to ensure quality and consistency.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Schedule staff shifts and assign duties effectively.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Safety Certification is an asset.
