Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Assign tasks and schedules to housekeeping team members, ensuring timely completion of duties.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Maintain records of room inspections, maintenance requests, and lost and found items.
- Implement and enforce Marriott International standards and policies related to housekeeping.
Education and Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
