Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
• Participate in training programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Education and Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure.
