Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise drilling operations on oil and gas rigs, including rig setup, drilling, and completion activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Coordinate with drilling crew, engineers, and other personnel to optimize drilling performance and achieve production targets.
- Monitor drilling parameters and wellbore conditions to identify and address any issues or challenges.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and rig components to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to drilling operations.
- Prepare reports and documentation on drilling activities, including daily drilling reports and incident reports.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to rig crew members to promote a culture of safety and professionalism.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in drilling operations, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Valid Kuwaiti driving license.
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
