Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of sushi dishes, including rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet the restaurant’s high standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to efficiently manage food preparation and service during peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary certificate or diploma from a recognized institution preferred.
• Previous experience working as a sushi cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques.
• LMIA approval for foreign workers in Canada is required for this position.
