Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on HSE practices, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for enhancing safety measures.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders on HSE-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records related to HSE activities.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
- Proven experience in HSE management, preferably in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.
