Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, identifying potential issues and taking appropriate measures to address them.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify problems.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and switches.
- Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems and resolve any interrelated issues.
- Carry out wiring, cabling, and connection tasks, adhering to electrical wiring diagrams and specifications.
- Perform electrical upgrades and modifications to existing systems, ensuring compatibility and compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies during all electrical engineering activities.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and techniques, implementing relevant changes or improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders, offering expertise in electrical engineering matters.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in electrical engineering practices.
- Flexibility to work daytime shifts and occasional overtime as required.
- Valid driving license.
