Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans, and ensuring proper storage of kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and cleaning vegetables, as directed by the kitchen team.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately, following established guidelines and maintaining cleanliness in waste storage areas.
• Ensure all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment are kept clean and sanitized, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality of products.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient workflow and contribute to a positive working environment.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
