Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the floor staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure high levels of customer service by interacting with customers, addressing their concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards on the floor.
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure effective communication and seamless coordination of operations.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Optimize workflow and productivity by managing staff schedules, breaks, and assignments effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock availability on the floor.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for floor staff, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales and revenue.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors to provide recommendations for improving the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and stakeholders effectively.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure high standards of cleanliness, visual merchandising, and operational efficiency.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
