Position Overview:

As a Visual Merchandiser at Smallworld Accessories Ltd, you will be responsible for creating visually captivating displays and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of our retail stores located in the UK. Responsibilities:

3. Product Placement: Strategically place and arrange merchandise to optimize visibility and encourage customer engagement. Ensure that products are properly categorized and organized for easy browsing and selection.
4. Store Layout: Collaborate with store managers and operations teams to plan and execute store layout changes, including fixtures, shelving, and signage, to improve traffic flow and enhance the overall customer experience.
5. Seasonal and Promotional Displays: Develop themed displays for seasonal events, holidays, and special promotions. Coordinate with marketing teams to align visual merchandising efforts with marketing campaigns.
6. Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store management to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor. Maintain appropriate stock levels for high-demand products.
7. Visual Merchandising Standards: Ensure that all visual merchandising activities comply with company guidelines, including brand standards, product placement guidelines, and visual merchandising policies.
8. Communication and Training: Provide guidance and training to store staff on visual merchandising standards and techniques. Foster effective communication channels to gather feedback and share best practices.
9. Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor visual merchandising strategies, and customer preferences. Incorporate relevant insights to maintain a competitive edge.
10. Evaluation and Reporting: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives through sales analysis, customer feedback, and store performance metrics. Prepare reports and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong artistic and design skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles, including color theory, layout design, and retail space utilization.
• Proficiency in using design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
