Job Description

FILTRAL INC., a leading distributor of filtration products in Quebec, Canada, is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Route Driver. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our products to our valued customers. This is a full-time position based in Quebec, Canada.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a delivery vehicle (such as a truck or van) to transport filtration products to designated locations along assigned routes.
2. Plan and organize daily delivery routes based on assigned orders and customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
3. Load and unload filtration products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, checking for any mechanical issues or safety concerns, and report any problems to the appropriate supervisor.
5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, invoices, and customer signatures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly.
6. Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns, and representing the company in a positive manner.
7. Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, including the company’s policies and procedures, to maintain a safe working environment.
8. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory counts and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license (Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience as a route driver or delivery driver is preferred.
3. Excellent knowledge of Quebec’s roadways and routes.
4. Ability to safely operate and maneuver delivery vehicles of various sizes and types.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and complete deliveries within specified timeframes.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation and handling products.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry heavy filtration products as required.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
10. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, as required.
