Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Bourne Leisure in the United Kingdom. As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our food and beverage operations across our resorts and hotels. Your role is crucial in ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards, and driving guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, and room service, across multiple properties.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest dining experience, increase revenue, and achieve financial targets.
• Monitor and analyze food and beverage trends, customer preferences, and industry developments, adapting offerings and menus accordingly.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of food and beverage staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality, and managing costs.
• Implement and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, considering customer preferences, dietary requirements, and seasonal availability.
• Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with brand standards, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts, monitoring expenses and revenue performance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in food and beverage operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, trends, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, staff, and suppliers.
• Exceptional customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the food and beverage industry.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality management or related fields are desirable.
