Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and assist with medical procedures.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient’s health status to the healthcare team.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and outings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Home Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
