Job Summary:

Care UK Plc, a leading healthcare organization, is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered General Nurse to join our team. As a Registered General Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents, assessing their needs, planning and implementing appropriate care plans, and evaluating outcomes.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to medication management protocols and maintaining accurate records.
3. Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions, promptly reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
4. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
5. Promote and maintain infection control practices, following established protocols and guidelines.
6. Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and independence.
7. Support patients/residents and their families, providing emotional support, information, and guidance during their healthcare journey.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, care plans, and interventions.
9. Adhere to professional and ethical nursing standards, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.
10. Participate in team meetings, clinical reviews, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and contribute to the improvement of care delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Valid registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the United Kingdom.
2. Previous experience as a Registered General Nurse is preferred, but newly qualified nurses with the right skills and attitude are also encouraged to apply.
3. Knowledge and understanding of person-centered care principles and their application in a healthcare setting.
4. Excellent clinical skills and the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.
6. Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to provide the highest standard of care.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
8. Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control practices.
9. Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology.
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current nursing practices and regulations.
