Responsibilities:

- Collect eggs, handle hatchery operations, and record production data accurately.
- Assist with the implementation of vaccination programs and follow strict biosecurity protocols.
- Monitor and adjust environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ventilation to optimize bird health and productivity.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Carry out general farm maintenance tasks, including repairs, fence maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with the farm team to achieve production targets and maintain farm efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in poultry farming.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in poultry farming or working with livestock is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of poultry husbandry practices, including feeding, disease prevention, and biosecurity measures.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and the ability to observe and identify signs of illness or distress in the birds.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
